Canadians are at a critical time of discernment as we head to the polls in our federal election and respond to global aggression and retreats in global cooperation. As people of faith deeply concerned by the multiple, intersecting crises facing Canadians and communities around the world, we are called to uproot injustice and plant seeds of hope for a more sustainable, equitable and just world for all of God’s Creation. In this year of Jubilee, may this statement be a message of hope and a call to transformative action to restore human dignity and ecological balance.
