A joint ecumenical delegation of the The United Church of Canada (UCCan) and For the Love of Creation (FLC) will virtually attend the United Nations Climate Change COP 26 being held October
Unceded Algonquin Territory (Ottawa, ON) – Canadian churches and faith-based organizations under For the Love of Creation have launched two programs to increase dialogue on climate change as part of its faith-based campaign to help Canada transition to net zero by 2050.
For the Love of Creation is hosting a Fall Forum every Monday evening this November on Zoom. Join us to learn more about our collective work for climate justice, engage with guest speakers, and take action for climate justice together online. Simultaneous translation will be available, except on November 16.
Canadian churches and faith-based organizations have a long history of work in ecological conservation, environmental activism, and advocacy for climate justice. To mark the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, we are coming together on a journey of reflection, dialogue, discernment, advocacy, and action on the issue of climate change.
